The Malö 36 Classic is a robust ocean-going yacht built by one of Sweden's premier yards. At nearly 39 feet, she represents the upper end of this model class and is designed for serious cruising and extended time at sea. The boat features a spacious aft cockpit with a practical folding table and full canopy, complemented by a fixed windscreen and sprayhood for reliable weather protection. The cockpit layout keeps the mainsheet track mounted on the signature Malö targa arch, preserving clear deck space and safety.
Below deck, the interior is finished in warm mahogany throughout. The layout comprises two double cabins, a generous saloon with opposing settees and fold-out dining table, a well-equipped galley to port, and a navigation station with dedicated head and separate shower to starboard. Storage is thoughtfully distributed and substantial. Teak decking remains in good condition for her age.
The yacht is powered by a reliable Yanjan 39hp diesel engine with shaft drive. She carries a Seldén Mast furling mainsail fitted in 2012 and a furling genoa from 2009, both managed by four Andersen winches and Harken deck equipment. A bow thruster and electric windlasses fore and aft facilitate handling in close quarters. Navigation systems include Raymarine electronics, autopilot, and Navtex. A bathing platform was added in 2025, and a stern electric windlass was installed the same year. The teak deck has been maintained and remains serviceable.
