2001 Navigator Pilothouse

This 2001 Navigator 61 Pilothouse is a fiberglass cruising motor yacht powered by twin Caterpillar 3196 diesel engines delivering 1,320 horsepower combined. Built for long-range passages, the yacht measures 61 feet in length with a 17.33-foot beam and draws on proven West Coast design principles. The raised pilothouse provides excellent visibility and direct access to side decks, while a full flybridge adds entertaining and navigating space above. An extended cockpit with French doors connects to the main salon, creating flow between interior and exterior spaces.

The interior layout centers on three private staterooms and two heads. The full-beam owner's suite amidships features a walkaround king berth, desk, and ensuite with granite finishes and shower. Forward, a VIP stateroom holds a centerline island queen berth with ensuite access to the guest head. A third cabin on the port side offers twin-over-double bunks ideal for guests or crew. The generous salon spans the full beam with cherry hardwood flooring, large windows for natural light, and an open galley-up design just two steps up, fitted with full-size appliances including a French door refrigerator, convection microwave, and dishwasher.

Systems throughout reflect serious cruising capability. The boat carries a 20-kilowatt Northern Lights generator, 5,000-watt power inverter with smart charger, and a 1,000-gallon fuel capacity. Hydraulic bow and electric stern thrusters facilitate docking, supported by a Wesmar digital gyro stabilizer system. The pilothouse includes a Garmin chartplotter, Simrad 48-mile open array radar, Robertson autopilot, and Si-Tex fishfinder. A separate 30-foot wired remote Glendinning electronic engine control provides additional steering station flexibility. Recent work includes new batteries installed in October 2025 and a fresh buff and wax in November 2025. The engine room allows standing headroom for service access.
