This 28-foot Protector Targa is a composite-hulled cuddy cabin built for coastal and offshore work. The hull features molded fiberglass construction with inflatable tubes around the perimeter for buoyancy and protection. Power comes from a single Yamaha 300 hp engine, supported by a 120-gallon fuel tank and stainless steel engine guard.
The boat is outfitted with navigation and safety equipment including a Raymarine GPS and chart plotter, a 24-mile Raymarine radar, and a Plastimo Offshore 105 compass. A Jensen Marine Bluetooth FM radio provides communication. The hardtop includes Isonglass panels between the windshield and canopy for weather protection, and the decking is finished with non-skid surface.
The engine completed its 1,000-hour service in July 2023, indicating recent maintenance attention. The boat is reported to be in good overall condition.
