The 2001 Pursuit 3000 Express is a 30-foot fiberglass sportfish yacht built for both serious fishing and comfortable cruising. Twin MerCruiser gasoline engines producing 700 horsepower drive the boat, engineered to deliver a smooth, dry ride even in heavy seas. The design balances a wide-open cockpit with aft seating for entertaining against functional fishing amenities: stainless steel rod holders and racks mounted under the gunwale, an insulated livewell, a macerated fish box with overboard drain, fresh and raw water washdowns, and a hinged transom door. An oversized windshield provides protection and visibility across the deck. An entertainment center sits on the bridgedeck.
Below deck, the cabin offers generous headroom throughout. The galley is fully equipped, and sleeping accommodations include a spacious forward double berth and a dinette that converts to a six-foot, six-inch berth. The interior features teak finishes, and cabins are appointed with a selection of comfortable fabrics. Optional teak and holly solid wood flooring is available. Additional features include tackle and general storage throughout, a fresh water system, and an optional icemaker in the entertainment center. Rupp outriggers are available as an option.
