This 40-foot Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge is a diesel-powered flybridge cruiser built on a fiberglass hull. Twin Caterpillar 3126TA engines, each producing 420 horsepower, deliver dependable direct-drive performance with 1,360 operating hours. The yacht cruises at 26 mph and reaches a maximum speed of 32 mph. Recent service in September 2025 included oil, filters, impellers, and transmission fluid work, while bottom paint was refreshed in June 2025.
The interior accommodates six guests across two cabins. The forward master stateroom features a centerline island berth with ensuite head and shower, plus two cedar-lined hanging lockers. A mid-cabin holds twin berths that convert to a king configuration. The salon includes a power-convertible sofa, a raised dinette seating four, and a full galley with a three-burner glasstop stove, convection microwave, and full-size dual-power refrigerator. Two separate heads serve the accommodations, and flat-screen TVs are distributed throughout.
Equipment and upgrades enhance extended cruising capability. A Westerbeke 8kW generator, 600-watt solar array, and a 3kW lithium battery system with five lead-acid batteries provide independent power. A Vetus electric bow thruster, dinghy davits rated to 400 pounds, and a retractable swim ladder round out the mechanical systems. The salon, cockpit, flybridge, and swim platform feature upgraded SeaDeck non-skid flooring. Full canvas enclosures protect the flybridge and aft deck. A stainless steel Dickinson barbecue, radar, GPS chartplotter, and dual-frequency depth sounder complete the outfit.
Fuel capacity is 300 gallons across two tanks, with water for 120 gallons and waste holding of 42 gallons. A Lowfrans windlass handles a 20kg plow anchor on 200 feet of rode with 30 feet of chain.
