The 2001 Sea Ray Sundancer 510 is a 51-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin 1,320-horsepower Caterpillar diesel engines, delivering a cruising speed of 24 knots and a maximum speed of 28 knots. The boat features a cherry wood interior with two cabins and two heads, offering comfortable accommodations for extended cruising. A notable feature is the camper top over the cockpit, which creates additional outdoor living space and works in conjunction with the installed cockpit heating and air conditioning.
The yacht has been maintained with comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic updates over recent years. Significant work includes a complete 1,000-hour engine service, replacement of hoses, batteries, and gaskets, new Raymarine electronics with dual Axiom displays and autopilot, a KVH TracVision satellite TV system, and refurbished propellers. Canvas and Stratoglass were replaced, along with new windshield molding and custom sunshades and window coverings.
Additional systems have been upgraded and installed, including underwater lights, a Fusion touchscreen stereo, LED lighting throughout the salon and stateroom, and eight boat cameras positioned in the engine room, salon, cockpit, and as a backup camera. The sound system features JL Audio components in the cockpit and a salon system with Marantz receiver and surround sound. New smart televisions have been added to the cockpit and salon.
The cockpit and swim platform are finished with PlasTeak-type decking that is durable and easy to maintain. A complete service on the main engines, transmissions, impellers, and all filters was performed in summer 2025. The boat was run exclusively in freshwater.
