The 2001 Silverton 453 is a 45-foot motor yacht defined by its innovative "sidewalk" deck layout—a design that replaces traditional side decks with molded stairways to create a full-beam salon and interior volume that rivals much larger boats. Twin Cummins diesel engines produce 900 horsepower combined, delivering cruising speeds around 18 knots and top speeds near 22 knots. With approximately 1,840 engine hours logged, the yacht cruises efficiently and maintains a well-equipped, thoughtfully arranged engine room accessible via a walk-in entrance from the VIP stateroom—a major serviceability advantage.

The accommodations center on three full staterooms and two heads. The aft master features a walkaround queen berth, generous storage, and an ensuite head with tub and shower, accessed via a private centerline passageway. Amidships, the VIP stateroom offers a walkaround queen and excellent headroom. Forward, the third stateroom contains over-under berths. A second head services the forward cabins. The layout sleeps eight comfortably and works equally well for extended cruising or entertaining.

The salon runs the full beam of the hull, flooded with natural light through large windows on all sides. An L-shaped settee and recliner anchor the space, with the entertainment center and bar creating a natural transition toward the galley. The raised galley sits a few steps up from the salon, keeping the cook connected to the rest of the boat while offering solid surface countertops, substantial cabinetry, Sub-Zero refrigeration, and full cooking equipment. A dinette nearby provides dining and access to the side deck via a boarding door.

The aft deck features a hardtop, full enclosure, and wet bar setup ideal for gathering. Molded stairs lead up to the flybridge—equipped with a centerline helm, excellent sightlines, Raymarine electronics, and guest seating under full enclosure—or down into the salon.
