2001 Sonic 42 Ss

The 2001 Sonic 42 Ss is a 42-foot high-performance center console built for rough water capability. Powered by twin Mercury Racing engines rated at 1,150 horsepower combined, the boat is equipped with XR drives, CMI silencers, K Planes hydraulic steering, and Gaffrig instrumentation. The engines have been freshly topped with new valves and dyno tested. Additional power and control equipment includes Zero Effort throttles, trim tabs, and a radar arch.

The cabin provides substantial headroom and sleeping accommodations for overnights, along with a galley refrigerator, marine head, and fresh water system. The helm station features a Garmin 182C GPS chartplotter, Icom VHF radio, compass, and depth finder for navigation and communication.

The boat carries comprehensive onboard systems: fire suppression, shore power, and battery charging. A bimini top and cockpit cover provide weather protection, while an aluminum slide-on trailer is included. The fiberglass hull measures 42 feet in length with an 8.5-foot beam.
