2001 Stamas 290 Express

The 2001 Stamas 290 Express is a 29-foot fiberglass express cruiser built for both extended cruising and offshore fishing. Twin 250-horsepower Suzuki outboards installed in 2021 deliver the power to reach 42 knots top speed and cruise comfortably at 30 knots, with 268 hours logged and remaining warranty coverage.

The cabin accommodates four in sleeping berths and includes air conditioning, a galley with refrigeration and cooktop, an enclosed head with toilet, shower, and sink, plus shore power and an onboard battery charger for extended stays. Water systems comprise 200 gallons of fuel capacity, 29 gallons of fresh water, a water heater, and both freshwater and saltwater wash-down capability.

Navigation and comfort equipment includes a Simrad NSS12 chartplotter wired for radar integration, VHF radio, stereo system, electric windlass, and trim tabs for refined handling. Auxiliary systems include a 2018 bunk trailer fitted to the boat specifications.

The gelcoat was recently restored. This is a straightforward, well-maintained cruiser suitable for longer passages and offshore conditions.
