2001 Voyage 440

The 2001 Voyage 440 is a 44-foot catamaran powered by twin 80-horsepower Yammer diesel engines. The boat reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots and cruises comfortably at 8 knots. Built from fiberglass with a 25-foot beam, this model won Cruising World Boat of the Year in 2002 and Best Cruising Multihull that same year, becoming the first multihull to claim the overall sailboat of the year award. The design balances bluewater cruising capability with substantial liveaboard space.

The interior is organized across three cabins and two heads. The starboard owner's suite features a queen berth forward, a desk and hanging lockers amidships, and an aft head with separate shower stall. The port hull holds a forward queen berth with latex mattress, a full berth aft, and a center head accessible from both forward and aft doors. A third pilot berth in the starboard hull, reached from a deck hatch, serves as comfortable sleeping space or additional storage when not in use. Every cabin includes substantial storage with hanging lockers, shelved cabinets, and under-seat compartments throughout.

The salon spans both hulls with an L-shaped seating area, upholstered in gray Alcantara cushions renewed in 2021, and a bar counter with breakfast stool. The standing headroom reaches 1.9 meters. A navigation station and electrical panel occupy the aft salon, with a modifiable table that adjusts between dining and cocktail heights. The port hull features a bookshelf at the forward stairwell. Port-side showers include both a stall shower in the owner's head and a hand-held unit in the center head.
