2001 Wauquiez 48 Pilot Saloon

The 2001 Wauquiez 48 Pilot Saloon is a fiberglass sailing yacht built for extended offshore cruising. Measuring 48 feet in length with a 14.76-foot beam, she offers a comfortable pilothouse design suited to long-distance voyaging in varying conditions.

Below deck, the yacht provides three cabins for accommodation. The interior is outfitted with a diesel engine, bowthruster, electric davits, and a 5kW Eberspacher heating system. A 7kg washing machine is installed for convenience on extended passages.

Systems and equipment reflect a comprehensive approach to self-sufficiency. Power comes from 1000-amp-hour lithium batteries paired with 440 watts of solar panels and a Superwind generator. A Fisher Panda 12kVA generator provides auxiliary power, with 310 running hours logged. Fresh water production is handled by an Aquabase watermaker rated at 150 liters per hour, showing 600 running hours of use. Navigation is managed through Raymarine electronics with twin autopilots and Starlink connectivity. Additional batteries for the bowthruster (dated 2025), engine (2025), and generator (2019) are fitted. A Highfield 340 tender and Suzuki 20hp four-stroke outboard complete the inventory.
