This 2002 Boston Whaler Outrage 270 is a comprehensively rebuilt center console powered by twin Mercury Verado engines professionally tuned to 550 horsepower total—a substantial upgrade from the factory 225 hp configuration. With only 600 hours on the engines, both have been serviced with new water pumps, resealed lower units, cleaned intercoolers, rebuilt trim assemblies, and fresh thermostats. The boat features custom StarCraft gauges and electric power steering assistance at the helm.

The electronics package centers on dual Garmin multifunction displays integrated into a custom carbon fiber dash, paired with FLIR infrared marine radar, NMEA-capable Fusion radio, and a complete JL Audio system comprising six 7-inch speakers, a 10-inch subwoofer, and dedicated M700 marine amplifier. A hand-built carbon fiber switch panel with LED-backlit controls replaces the original dash layout. Custom LED lighting throughout—including interior blue accents, T-top bar lights, and underwater illumination—complements the modern helm aesthetic.

The boat includes a professionally installed marine head with macerator toilet, sink, and storage. An electric anchor windlass with helm controls operates new line and anchor hardware. Sea Dek foam flooring covers all deck areas, offering improved comfort and noise reduction. All mechanical and plumbing systems have been renewed within the past year: new bilge, live well, and washdown pumps; marine-grade hose throughout with dual stainless-steel clamps; and premium brass through-hull fittings and valves. A standalone 2,500 GPH emergency bilge pump provides additional redundancy. High-quality outriggers and custom rigging support offshore fishing capability.

The boat comes with a custom triple-axle trailer recently overhauled with three new 6,500-pound axles, stainless-steel brackets, new calipers and rotors, and a 3,500-pound two-speed winch. The fiberglass hull has been stored indoors or under cover throughout ownership, showing minimal cosmetic wear and no sun damage or neglect.
