This 2002 custom cruise ship spans 665 feet with a beam of 116 feet 6 inches and gross tonnage of 42,289 metric tons. Built by Aker in Germany, the steel hull is powered by two Wartsila diesel-electric engines delivering 25,192 horsepower combined, with electric drive propulsion achieving a maximum speed of 21 knots and a cruising speed of 19 knots. The ship features thrusters and carries a crew of 426 to service its 609 cabins accommodating 1,218 lower berths and 1,580 total berths across 10 decks.

The vessel offers extensive cruise ship amenities including five dining venues—the Market, Calypso, Rossini, Pool Grill, and specialty restaurants—alongside ten bars and lounges. Entertainment and recreation facilities comprise a fitness center, health spa, beauty salon, sauna, steam room, two jacuzzis, sports center with golf simulator, putting green, volleyball and basketball courts, kids club with separate pool, computer center, and shopping facilities.

The ship underwent significant refits in 2014, 2017, and 2024. During the 2024 refit, 22 suites were converted from guest cabins. A dry-dock was completed in 2022 and the vessel maintains current trading certificates with DNV-GL class notation and Liberian flag.
