2002 Dawson Yachts Sport

The 2002 Dawson Yachts Sport is a 37.5-foot fiberglass sportfish powered by a single rebuilt Cummins 8.3 diesel engine rated at 430 horsepower with approximately 700 hours since rebuild. The boat cruises at 18 to 19 knots and carries 330 gallons of fuel, with fuel consumption around 1.5 miles per gallon. The transmission is a ZF 700 with roughly 700 hours on a rebuild.

Accommodations include air conditioning via two 12,000 BTU units with heating capability. Fresh water capacity is approximately 150 gallons. The boat is fitted with an 8-kilowatt Phasor genset with about 400 hours of service. Propulsion is through a 2-inch shaft and 27-by-25-inch propeller.

The engine and transmission have both been recently rebuilt, making this a solid platform for extended cruising or charter use.
