The 2002 Hinckley Talaria 44 Flybridge is a composite-built yacht powered by twin Yammer diesel engines producing 880 horsepower, capable of 30 knots at top speed and 24 knots while cruising. The design centers on dual helm stations—one in the pilothouse and a second at the flybridge—giving flexibility in how the boat is operated depending on conditions and preference.
The flybridge is equipped with a venturi windshield, passenger seating, and a dedicated helm station with a Stidd 500N seat. Below, the pilothouse features two Stidd 500N helm seats forward, L-shaped settees aft with a varnished teak table, and a gloss varnished teak sole. The cockpit includes molded nonskid, aft-facing settees, forward-facing seating across the transom, and a swim platform accessible through transom walk-thru.
Interior accommodations sleep five across a master stateroom, guest cabin, head, shower, galley, and dining salon. The spaces are finished in satin-varnished cherry cabinetry with white overheads and louvered locker doors throughout. A varnished teak and tulip sole, six opening portlights, and five opening overhead teak-trimmed hatches with integrated screens maintain a light, airy feel. Dimmable cabin lighting, Hella fans for circulation, and Sunbrella curtains complete the interior environment.
Recent improvements include updated interior and exterior cushions, a new flybridge bimini top, new Hybrid-Touch Radar/GPS unit, new Fusion whole-boat stereo system, updated electrical system, and Black Quartzite countertops. The yacht is equipped with reverse-cycle heat and air-conditioning throughout, an Espar diesel heater, generator, and trim tabs with joystick control.
