The 2002 Hunter Passage 420 is a 43-foot cruising sailboat with a fiberglass hull and center cockpit layout. Powered by a Yanmar diesel engine of 56 horsepower, the boat combines seaworthiness with comfortable accommodations. The deep cockpit provides protection and dry conditions while sailing, with generous sun bathing areas forward and aft. A Bimini, dodger, and full cockpit enclosure enhance comfort in varying weather.
Below deck, the interior features real wood paneling and leather accents throughout. The aft stateroom contains a queen-size island berth with ample surrounding space. The main salon includes a dinette to starboard, a U-shaped settee that converts to a double berth, and a two-person settee to port. A cozy pullman berth forward accommodates additional guests. The galley to port of the companionway is well-appointed with a large refrigerator and freezer, double sink, stove, microwave, and substantial counter space.
Recent upgrades completed in 2025 include new standing and running rigging by Annapolis Rigging, and comprehensive electronics: Garmin Fantom 18x radar, dual GPSMAP 8610xsv multifunction displays, Garmin GHC 20 autopilot with Reactor 40 computer, and an integrated Garmin sail pack with wind and depth transducers. Navigation equipment includes a Garmin GA 38 antenna and new Ritchie Navigator compass. A Victron smart battery monitor system manages house and bow thruster batteries.
Additional systems include a Northern Lights M673L.3 generator (approximately 580 hours), Marinno electric bow thruster, dual MarineAire reverse-cycle air-conditioning units, ICOM M402 VHF radio, Samsung television, Jensen entertainment system, and tank monitors for fuel, water, and holding tanks. Kato dinghy davits are fitted for tender storage. LED lighting is installed throughout.
