2002 JFA Yachts JFA/Vitters 82

This 82-foot aluminum sailing yacht was designed by Judel Vrolijk and built in 2002, combining robust construction with refined aesthetics. A comprehensive refit at Vitters Shipyard has restored her to high standards. Her flush deck design conceals all running rigging below the surface, creating a clean working deck while improving safety and ease of handling. Powered by a single Yanmar diesel engine of 402 horsepower, she cruises at 12 knots and was purpose-built for extended ocean passages, manageable by a small permanent crew.

The interior, finished by GCA in Barcelona, features clear varnished teak throughout and centers on a spacious saloon and dining area with large windows and deliberate lighting. Forward accommodations include a generous master cabin with private seating area and ensuite bathroom, two twin guest cabins each with their own bathrooms, and additional pullman berths, offering comfortable sleeping for up to eight guests. The yacht also has three heads distributed throughout.

Her sailing plan includes a furling boom, self-tacking genoa, and hydraulic winches—equipment chosen for straightforward operation with minimal crew involvement. These features make her equally suited to leisurely cruising and competitive sailing, combining performance with the comfort expected in a long-range cruising platform.
