2002 Jongert Jongert 40T

The Jongert 40T is a steel-hulled sailing yacht built in 2002 and designed for serious offshore cruising. At 136 feet in length with a beam of nearly 26 feet, she combines the proven Dutch engineering and construction quality Jongert is known for with substantial bluewater capability. She is powered by a single Caterpillar diesel engine rated at 608 horsepower, delivering a cruising speed of 10 knots and a maximum speed of 12 knots.

The yacht accommodates six cabins and six heads, providing comfortable quarters for extended passages and world cruising. The interior layout supports both the owner and guests with dedicated facilities throughout, making her well-suited to long-term voyaging where comfort and self-sufficiency matter.

The boat underwent a comprehensive two-year refit that included extensive systems upgrades and improvements to major components. This work was carried out at a premier North American shipyard and has left the yacht in sound, well-maintained condition ready for serious cruising operations.
