2002 Linssen 470 Grand Sturdy

The 2002 Linssen 470 Grand Sturdy is a steel-hulled trawler built in Holland, measuring 47 feet with a beam of nearly 15 feet. Powered by twin Volvo Penta diesel engines producing 294 horsepower combined, she cruises comfortably at 7.5 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 9.4 knots. Her shallow 4.5-foot draft, full keel, and skeg-hung rudders suit her to coastal and inland waterway cruising. The steel construction and deliberate design deliver a robust, sea-kindly platform.

The yacht accommodates two cabins and two heads. Her interior is fitted with creature comforts including three reverse-cycle air conditioning units, a hot water heater, and three refrigeration units—one in the galley and two compact units elsewhere. A Spectra water-maker provides independent water generation. An Onan 9-kilowatt generator with sound shield and a Vetus bow thruster with upper and lower command stations enhance onboard capability and ease of handling.

Recent maintenance and upgrades span the past few years. The twin engines received a full service in 2022 and log 2,360 hours. Raymarine electronics were installed at both upper and lower helms in February 2023. The galley refrigerator-freezer is new as of December 2022, as is the hot water heater. A new battery charger was fitted in December 2020. The hull received fresh bottom paint in January 2022, with the topside painted with Pettit Endeavor Blue epoxy in 2015. A dinghy on davits completes the equipment.
