This 2002 McKinna 57 Pilothouse is a raised pilothouse motor yacht built on a semi-displacement fiberglass hull. Powered by twin Cummins 6CTA 450 diesel engines, she delivers the economical cruising performance the McKinna design is known for. The hull's deep-V shape with moderate deadrise provides smooth, stable riding in varied sea conditions. At 57 feet with a 15.4-foot beam, she combines distinctive styling with practical deck and living spaces throughout.
The three-cabin layout offers substantial accommodation. The master stateroom amidships features a queen walk-around berth and private head with shower. Forward is a large V-berth guest cabin, while a third guest cabin with over-under berths sits portside. The pilothouse level includes a full-beam salon with teak paneling, L-shaped settee with ottomans, and a double settee, all with new upholstery. The galley sits forward in the salon and features new stainless steel refrigerator and freezer drawers plus a three-burner electric stove. Two heads and 6 feet 5 inches of headroom throughout support extended cruising.
Recent work completed this season includes a new Phasor 21kW generator with 76 hours, custom two-stage hull paint, new salon and pilothouse flooring, refreshed soft goods and upholstery throughout, new stainless steel galley appliances, and a complete mechanical service covering coolers, heat exchangers, oil, filters, and fluids. Fire system certification and fresh batteries were also completed. The boat is equipped with a full flybridge enclosure, davit with dinghy chocks, electric windlass, bow thruster, trim tabs, and comprehensive navigation electronics including Furuno radar and plotter, Simrad autopilot, and VHF radio.
