2002 Monterey 262 Cruiser

The 2002 Monterey 262 Cruiser is a compact cruiser built around generous cockpit space and thoughtful layout. The deck plan centers on a large, open cockpit with an aft-facing lounge seat to port, a helm seat that retracts for sunbathing, and a transom bench seat. A walk-through windshield with molded steps leads forward to the bow, while a transom door opens onto an integrated swim platform. A wetbar is positioned portside, and the cockpit accommodates an optional table for entertaining.

Below deck, the cabin offers full-size headroom throughout. The main salon features a U-shaped dinette that converts to a double berth with storage underneath. An aft cabin holds an additional double berth. The enclosed head includes standing headroom, shower, marine toilet, vanity, and sink; a cabin hanging locker provides stowage.

The boat was re-powered in 2023 with a MerCruiser 350 MPI engine producing 300 horsepower paired with a Bravo 3 outdrive. The engine has 60 hours of running time since installation.
