2002 Moonen MOONEN 84

This 2002 Moonen 84 is an 82-foot steel motor yacht powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines delivering 949 horsepower. The boat cruises at 10 knots with a maximum speed of 13 knots and is equipped with zero-speed stabilizers, making it capable and comfortable for extended cruising.

The yacht accommodates four cabins and five heads, designed to be manageable with a small crew. A comprehensive refit undertaken in 2009 included replacement of all major systems: new generator sets, upgraded hydraulic system, new shore-power converter, anchoring system, and winches. The engine room was fully upgraded with all pumps rebuilt and trip trays added. Navigation and communication electronics were completely renewed.

Structural and aesthetic improvements included new stainless steel work by Moonen's Ino ferro division, replacement of all exterior plexiglass windows with glass, and a reconfigured flying bridge to optimize relaxation space and tender storage. Recent upgrades added improved exhaust systems with upgraded silencers. The boat's systems have been continuously maintained and upgraded through ongoing ownership.
