2002 Ocean Yachts Super Sport

This 43-foot Ocean Yachts Super Sport is a diesel-powered sportfish built on a fiberglass hull. Twin 500-horsepower Yanmar engines deliver a maximum speed of 33 knots and cruise comfortably at 28 knots. The boat holds 480 gallons of fuel and is equipped with a Seakeep stabilizer system to manage motion underway and at anchor.

The fishing platform includes a 1,600-quart chiller box and five commercial-grade Durabrite lights mounted to illuminate the working areas. A windlass handles ground tackle, rigged with 300 feet of rope and 40 feet of chain. The accommodations include a 2015 Phasor generator that powers all systems with regular servicing every 100 hours.

Recent mechanical work completed in October 2022 includes replacement of both turbochagers, oil coolers, sea water pumps, coolant pumps, thermostats, and the starboard transmission. Both engines received a full 4,000-hour service at that time. The shaft, running gear, and prop received new bottom paint. Shaft alignment, strut alignment, cutlass bushings, shaft seals, and underwater lights were also completed new in 2022.

The exterior gel coat is maintained annually with buffing and wax. Exterior cushions were updated in 2017. Life jackets and safety equipment are new from 2022. All systems remain in working order.
