The 2002 Regal Commodore 3860 is a 38-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Volvo Penta engines totaling 850 horsepower. This model bridges Regal's express cruiser line with a distinctive split-level cockpit design and thoughtful layout. The raised cockpit features a semi-circular lounge to port with convenient access to battery switches beneath the cushions, while a refreshment station serves both cockpit levels. The lower aft cockpit includes an L-shaped lounge, a gas-actuator transom door, secondary engine hatch, and its own removable cooler. A large swim platform extends from the stern, fitted with a concealed three-step ladder and three separate lockable storage compartments.

The cabin offers two private staterooms and two complete heads with shower compartments—uncommon for an under-40-foot express cruiser. The forward cabin contains a queen berth with two cedar-lined hanging lockers and dedicated head access. The mid-cabin features convertible twin berths that can be joined into a queen configuration, plus a cedar-lined locker and stand-up dressing area.
