2002 Sea Ray 225 Weekender

This 2002 Sea Ray 225 Weekender is a 22-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by a MerCruiser inboard engine. The boat received a significant engine replacement in 2024, with a new fuel-injected 5.0L engine delivering 300 horsepower—a notable upgrade from the original powerplant. The new engine has accumulated only about 100 hours. Supporting that overhaul, a new wiring harness and repaired I/O drive were installed during the same period. The boat cruises at 25 knots and reaches 35 knots at full throttle.

The running systems are solid: trim tabs operate as intended, gauges are functional, and both the original VHF radio and a new 4-speaker stereo work properly. The hull presents in very good condition and shows approximately 800 hours of use overall. Upholstery remains in good condition, though some cracking appears in exposed areas where wear is typical.

A 2019 Continental dual-axle trailer with brakes and lights is included with the boat, ready for transport. The boat was kept out of the water during storage under both the current and prior ownership, which has helped protect the hull despite its saltwater exposure.
