The 2002 Sea Ray 225 Weekender is a 24-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin 5.0L MerCruiser MPI Alpha I stern drives producing 520 horsepower. It reaches speeds up to 50 mph and features a burl instrument panel with power tilt and trim, tilt wheel with power steering, and an exclusive waterproof switch pad for reliable control.
The cabin includes a V-berth that converts to a sleeping berth for two with removable filler cushions, a head with pump-out toilet and privacy curtain on the starboard side, and a galley with sink, faucet, and storage. The open cockpit has removable aft jump seats that function as a sunlounger, stowed in side panels, along with a lockable cabin door with integral steps to the foredeck. A walk-through transom door leads to an integral swim platform with folding ladder.
The boat comes equipped with full camper canvas and storage bag for side curtains, full cockpit snap-down carpet, a Lowrance fish finder, folding anchor with rode and approximately 100 feet of line with bow roller, and safety gear including life jackets and inflatable lifejackets. The removable motorbox provides engine access. An EZ loader trailer is included. Recent maintenance in August 2025 includes new spark plugs, cap, rotor, fuel and oil filters, and synthetic marine oil; the trailer received new tires and has approximately 10 miles of use.
