2002 Sea Ray 480 Motor Yacht

The 2002 Sea Ray 480 Motor Yacht is a 50-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin Cummins diesel engines producing 1,260 horsepower combined. The boat runs approximately 1,345 hours on the main engines and 549 hours on its Westerbeke 12.5kW generator. Recent mechanical work in summer 2025 included comprehensive service to both engines—turbo work, exhaust manifold service, oil and filter changes, fuel filters, impellers, belts, and transmission oil service. New batteries were installed in May 2025, and the windshield seals were replaced in November 2025. The boat has been freshwater-kept and maintained by a single prior owner.

The Sea Ray 480 offers a three-stateroom layout with a full-beam aft master featuring a queen berth and ensuite head, a forward VIP stateroom with island berth, and a guest stateroom with convertible twin or king berths. The main salon features cherry cabinetry, opposing seating, and an entertainment center. The galley is equipped with a full-size Norcold refrigerator/freezer, three-burner stove with ceramic glass cooktop, microwave/convection oven, and a Splendide 2000 washer/dryer combo. The generous aft deck includes air conditioning, a wet bar with icemaker, and stereo system, with molded staircase access to the electric swim platform.

Navigation and docking systems include a Garmin 8612 multifunction display with GPS chartplotter, Garmin Fantom 54 radar, Raymarine ST7001 autopilot, and an ICOM VHF radio. Docking and maneuvering are enhanced by a recently installed Yacht Controller Optimo joystick system, a Vetus bow thruster, and hydraulic trim tabs. The boat features four Cruisair marine air conditioning units, Ocean LED underwater lights, electric windlass, central vacuum, VacuFlush heads, and a 50-amp shore power system. A Highfield 340 center console tender with 25HP Yamaha four-stroke outboard is included. Bottom paint is approximately 1.5 years old, and an anchor chain was replaced in 2025.
