2002 Sea Ray Sundancer 460

The 2002 Sea Ray 460 Sundancer is a 46-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Cummins diesel engines producing 860 horsepower combined, with recorded engine hours at 1,500. The boat reaches 24 knots at full speed with a cruising speed of 18 knots, delivering capable performance for extended cruising in coastal and inland waters.

The layout flows from a large open cockpit with helm to starboard, wet bar, and a newly installed icemaker, down to a galley to port. The main cabin offers guest accommodations amidships with a convertible settee and private head, while the forward master stateroom features a centerline queen and ensuite head. Interior appointments include handcrafted wood trim, SMX II reverse-cycle heat and air conditioning, a central vacuum system, and decorator elements throughout. The galley is equipped with a Norcold refrigerator-freezer, Kenyon electric range, Sharp microwave, and Corian-style countertops with ample storage.

Navigation and electronics have been upgraded with new Raymarine equipment including an EV-100 autopilot with hydraulic drive, a 4-foot open array radar, VHF radio, GPS receiver, and depth finder display. A Westerbeker 8kW generator provides shore power capability through 50A/240V service. Mechanical systems include ZF 280 IV transmissions, a Vetus bow thruster, hydraulic steering with trim tabs, and dual stainless steel propeller shafts with Nibral four-blade propellers.

Deck features include a TNT submersible hydraulic swim platform, electric windlass with plow anchor, electric spotlight with remote, freshwater washdown and hot/cold shower, and comprehensive safety equipment. The salon carpet shows wear; a new carpet cover has been fitted. Carpeting has been removed from the forward and aft staterooms.
