This 2002 Viking 55 Convertible is a 56-foot diesel-powered fishing yacht built on a composite hull. Twin MAN engines rated at 2,600 horsepower deliver a maximum speed of 40 knots. The boat has been operated exclusively in freshwater and features two heads and full accommodations throughout.
Recent upgrades include new Garmin Fantom 256 and dual Garmin 8624 chartplotters, electronic throttle controls with Palm Beach levers and bow thruster controls, Dockmate wireless remote system, Fusion stereo with new speakers, Denon dual-zone receiver, and new television displays. The electronic suite also includes new trolling valves and Glendenning controls. Navigation and deck equipment include 39-foot Rupp outriggers.
The interior has been comprehensively refreshed. New ultraleather salon and dinette seating, vinyl flooring in the salon, new carpet in the staterooms, and updated upholstery throughout. Galley features a new Viking convection oven. New canvas and a drop canvas sunshade with privacy screen are installed. Two new air-conditioning units and updated batteries and cables support all systems.
The engine room is clean and organized, housing the dual MAN engines and an Onan 21.5-kilowatt generator. Fluid, filters, and impellers were serviced in April 2026. The hull was buffed with Starke compound in 2026, with topsides to be finished in the water.
