2002 Wellcraft 24 Walkaround
About This Yacht
The Wellcraft 24 Walkaround is a fiberglass walkaround built around dual purpose: family cruising and fishing. Powered by a single 200-horsepower Yamaha gasoline engine, it reaches a cruising speed of 27 knots with a maximum speed of 30 knots. The 24-foot length and 8-foot beam provide a stable platform across varied water conditions.
The cockpit is purpose-built for fishing, with a 100-quart lighted livewell, raw water washdown system, and livewell pump. Tackle storage includes a watertight compartment at the helm and transom wells fitted with removable liners. A VHF radio is standard equipment, and the design allows easy movement across the deck.
Below, the cabin features a double berth that converts to a dinette for flexible use. The galley includes a single-burner alcohol stove and pressurized freshwater system. The head is equipped with a VacuFlush toilet and 12-gallon holding tank, with an optional overboard discharge option. This layout balances overnight accommodation with the practicality needed for extended fishing trips.
