2002 Wellcraft 24 Walkaround

This 2002 Wellcraft 24 Walkaround is a fiberglass walkaround built to serve equally well as a fishing boat and a family cruiser. Single Yamaha gasoline power propels the 24-foot hull, which measures 8.33 feet at the beam. The boat features a foam-filled, fiberglass-encapsulated stringer system and a diamond-pattern skid-resistant fiberglass liner. All deck hardware is stainless steel and through-bolted.

The accommodations include a V-berth that converts to seating with a dinette table, a galley with single-burner alcohol stove and sink, and a self-contained head compartment. The cockpit is well-appointed with a curved tempered glass windshield, Sunbrella canvas bimini top, port and starboard bolsters, beverage holders, and courtesy lighting. A half-dive platform with swing-down ladder and transom entry light switch support easy water access.

Fishing-focused equipment includes a 21-gallon circular livewell with light and pedestal cushions, four stainless steel flush-mount rod holders, insulated in-floor fish boxes with overboard pumpout on both port and starboard sides, built-in tackle storage, and a raw water washdown system. Deck features encompass anchor storage, stainless steel cleats, port lights, stainless steel rails, four rod holders, and under-gunwale rod storage.

Standard systems include a tilt hydraulic steering wheel, trim tabs, 12-volt lighting and instrumentation with tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge, voltmeter, water pressure gauge, and trim gauge. A bilge pump with auto float switch, battery switch, compass, horn, and safety interlock system with lanyard round out the mechanical package. The boat is NMMA certified and complies with Coast Guard safety regulations.
