This 2003 Alliaura 585 is a fiberglass catamaran designed for comfortable cruising and extended offshore passages. Built as part of a limited production run, the hull combines proven design with solid construction. Twin Yanmar diesel engines provide reliable propulsion, while the boat carries twin generators, dual water makers, solar panels, and twin autopilots for self-sufficient cruising. A rigid hardtop protects the cockpit and provides excellent visibility in varying conditions.
The accommodation plan includes four owner cabins with double berths and two forward crew cabins, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for families or larger crews. The galley sits elevated and opens onto the saloon, creating an airy living space. The saloon features a rounded layout with a telescoping dining table and retains its original beige leather upholstery, complemented by cherry wood joinery throughout. A pair of large refrigerators are positioned along the starboard passageway.
The main sail was replaced with Hydranet material in 2021. The boat also carries reversible air conditioning. Some maintenance should be anticipated on the teak surfaces and the original standing rigging. The catamaran has been used privately in the Mediterranean and is winterized annually.
