The 2003 Azimut 98 Leonardo is a 98-foot fiberglass cruiser built around Italian design and modern engineering. Twin MTU diesel engines producing 4,000 horsepower drive the yacht to a top speed of 15 knots, with a cruising speed of 13 knots. The boat combines the profile of an open yacht with the sophistication of a larger motor yacht, bridging sport-performance and flybridge comfort.
The yacht accommodates seven guests across three cabins: a full-beam master suite, a VIP cabin on the lower foredeck, and a guest cabin on the starboard side. Four heads serve the guest areas. Additional crew quarters include two cabins with a combined capacity for four crew members. The galley is equipped with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, dual refrigerators, dual freezers, washing machine, dryer, ice maker, and beverage refrigerators on both the flybridge and saloon bar.
Systems include Simrad navigation and autopilot with multifunction displays, plotter, and radar. Twin Kohler 45-kilowatt generators supply 24-volt DC and 380-volt AC three-phase power. The water maker produces 120 liters per hour. Fuel capacity is 10,980 liters, water capacity 1,800 liters, with a 700-nautical-mile range at 24 knots. Onboard amenities include Cruisair air conditioning, a bow thruster, Lofrans anchor and capstans, and an electrohydraulic telescopic passarella. Safety equipment comprises two life rafts rated for 12 persons, lifejackets for adults and children, emergency steering, and fire extinguishing systems. A 430 Avon jet tender is included.
