The 2003 Baja 342 is a 34-foot offshore performance boat powered by twin MerCruiser 496 engines producing 992 horsepower. Built for rough water and designed to cruise at 40 knots with a top speed of 75 knots, this boat combines genuine seakeeping ability with serious power. Kiekhaefer trim tabs and a solid hull design keep the ride locked in at speed, while racing-grade Livorsi gauges and Gaffrig throttle controls put precision control in your hands.
Below deck, the cabin prioritizes comfort for overnight trips. The layout includes a wrap-around seating area, curtained V-berth, enclosed head with shower and sink, and a full galley with electric cooktop and microwave. A 145-gallon fuel tank supports extended cruising, backed by AC/DC refrigeration and a 5,000 BTU air conditioning system. A Kohler 5KW generator provides onboard power. Generous storage throughout keeps gear organized, while a tonneau cover protects the cockpit when not in use.
Equipment includes a Garmin 182C color GPS, Lowrance digital depth sounder, compass, and Clarion stereo with VCR and TV. The cockpit features helm and guest bolster seating with cushions, an aft sun pad, and a wet bar with ice maker. Docking lights and driving lights round out the setup. Both engines had exhaust manifolds replaced at 406 and 407 hours respectively.
The boat comes with a Load Rite triple-axle galvanized steel trailer with disc brakes. The trailer has been refreshed with new tires, wiring, and brakes. A new custom top was added to the boat. Some accessories including the ice maker have not been operated recently and are included as-is.
