This 2003 Bavaria 44 is a fiberglass cruising sloop built for extended voyaging. The boat features a three-cabin layout with the master berth forward and mirror-image cabins aft on either side. The interior is finished in mahogany, with a galley along the port side and a dedicated navigation station to starboard aft.
Power comes from a Volvo diesel engine rated at 55 horsepower with just under 1,200 hours at the time of listing. The engine has been recently serviced. The sails—a 135% furling genoa and classic mainsail with lazyjacks—are both in excellent condition.
The boat is well equipped for offshore cruising. Electronics include a Garmin chartplotter, radar, instruments package, and autopilot. The electrical system features a lithium house bank paired with a 2-kilowatt Victron charger and inverter, 550 watts of solar panels, and a Balmar 200-amp alternator with Wakespeed smart regulator. A custom stern davit carries a Zodiac 310 dinghy with a 20-horsepower Yamaha outboard.
A survey completed two years prior identified several major items, all of which have since been addressed.
