2003 Beneteau First 40.7

This 2003 Beneteau First 40.7 is a regatta-specification sailing yacht built in fiberglass with a 40-horsepower Volvo diesel engine. At nearly 40 feet in length with a 12.4-foot beam, the design delivers both performance and seaworthiness. The boat has been used exclusively for cruising, never in competitive racing, and maintained with consistent care throughout its life.

The yacht carries a comprehensive suit of sails in excellent condition: full-batten mainsail in laminated Vectran, black jib, spinnaker with sock, storm jib, and heavy-weather jib. Navigation and sailing systems include a Raymarine electronic suite with hydraulic ST6001 autopilot, six ST60 displays, wireless S100 remote control, NMEA multiplexer, and two Cobra GPS plotters. The sailing platform is enhanced by a welded stainless steel arch with two solar panels and a STECA regulator for independent power generation at anchor.

Recent mechanical and electrical work has brought the boat to full readiness. The Volvo engine was rebuilt in 2024 and has just 16 hours of running time. The entire electrical installation was renewed in 2024, featuring three batteries (two service, one engine), a CRISTEC distribution panel, and a VICTRON BMV700 controller. Safety equipment is current, including a 2024 life raft, a new tender, and an outboard motor.

The yacht comes rigged and equipped to set sail with no immediate work required. All systems have been maintained to a high standard, making this an immediately operational boat for fast cruising or amateur racing.
