2003 Carver 460 Voyager

The 2003 Carver 460 Voyager is a three-stateroom, two-head motor yacht built on a 46-foot-11-inch fiberglass hull with modified V-bottom design. Twin Volvo Penta TAMD75P-A turbocharged diesel inboards rated at 375 horsepower each power the boat through ZF280-1A gearboxes and bronze four-blade propellers. At only 580 engine hours, the mechanical platform remains well under average for this vintage. Volvo QL electric bow and stern thrusters are fitted, making single-handed maneuvering practical for a boat of this beam.

Below deck, the layout flows from a forward V-berth master stateroom with en-suite head to two mid-ship staterooms, each with dedicated heads. Granite countertops and glass-enclosed shower enclosures finish all three heads. The main salon features a full leather L-shaped settee, two club chairs, and an entertainment center framed by large windows. A cream leather dining settee wraps a pedestal table forward of the salon. The galley includes a Sharp microwave-convection oven, Princess triple-burner stovetop, and NovaKool refrigerator-freezer, with a Malber washer-dryer combo installed below.

The 560-gallon fuel capacity supports substantial coastal cruising, while a Kohler 15.5-kilowatt diesel generator with 500 hours of service provides independent power. Three Dometic air conditioning units and a diesel heating system manage climate control throughout. A Humminbird chartplotter and fishfinder, Raymarine autopilot, and ProSport 20 Plus battery charger round out the core systems. Bottom paint was freshly applied in January 2025 with new zinc anodes installed at that time.

The flybridge offers an aft-facing curved settee with dining table and helm seating, while the cockpit features built-in seating and a wet bar with sink. A 12-volt aluminum davit and crane arm handles tender management, and a bimini top provides weather protection on deck.
