2003 Chaparral Signature 240

This 2003 Chaparral Signature 240 is a 26-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by a single Mercruiser 5.0 engine with 250 horsepower and Bravo 3 outdrive. The engine has logged 846 hours. The boat has been stored under cover when not in use.

The layout includes a forward V-berth that converts to a dining table, an aft berthing compartment, and a head with toilet and holding tank. The galley is equipped with a combination alcohol and electric stove, microwave, and a 12-volt/120-volt refrigerator. Climate control consists of heat and air conditioning. Fresh water runs throughout via an onboard tank with electric pump, serving three sinks and an aft shower. An additional aft deck shower and fresh water sink are available topside.

Electronics and equipment include a West Marine 276c Plus chart plotter, VHF radio with fold-down antenna, AM/FM stereo with speakers in both cabin and cockpit, compass, and depth finder. The boat carries two bimini tops, a Danforth anchor, remote spotlight, swim platform with telescopic stainless steel step ladder, trim tabs, and a starboard-side flush-mount rod holder. A 2024 Venture aluminum trailer is included.

Recent work includes a reupholstered operator seat, replaced A/C water pump, and rebuilt toilet pump completed in 2025. Two new 12-volt batteries were added in 2024, along with a battery selector switch, charger, and shore power cable. The boat comes with a winter cover.
