The 2003 Cobalt 246 is a 24-foot fiberglass runabout built to accommodate groups comfortably. The cockpit features two forward-facing captain's chairs with adjustable, articulating designs that rise above the windshield for sightlines, paired with an L-shaped lounge. The layout includes a walk-through windshield and walk-through transom for easy movement around the boat, with capacity for up to twelve people total.

The boat carries practical onboard amenities including a ventilated head compartment, a ski locker positioned amidships, and an ice chest in the cockpit. A generous swim platform is accessible via a concealed ladder. The helm is outfitted with illuminated instruments and a tilting, leather-bound steering wheel.
