This 2003 Contender 21 Open center console is built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a 2025 Mercury 200hp V6 engine with under 100 hours of operation, still covered by manufacturer warranty. The boat has been substantially updated with modern electronics and systems: dual Garmin GPSMAP 943XSV units, Garmin GMR 18HD+ radar with radome, VHF radio with Shakespeare antenna, and a JBL Bluetooth sound system. Custom black acrylic dash panels by American Offshore house the electronics, while the helm, Seastar steering and hoses, compass, fuel vent, and Rule bilge pump are all recent additions.
The boat is rigged for serious fishing, with six gunnel rod holders, ten console and T-top mounted rod holders, and six under-gunnel rod storage slots. Below deck, a 30-gallon in-deck live well, forward fish box, rear storage, and under-jump-seat cooler provide ample room for tackle and catch. Seahawk batteries installed in 2025 are maintained on a trickle charger, backed up by a new NOCO dual-bank battery charger.
The bottom was painted for the first time in 2025 in blue, marking a transition from its previous lift and trailer storage history. A 2003 Performance Trailer is included with the purchase, fitted with new hitch, wiring, surge brakes, leaf springs, and carpeted bunks.
