The 2003 Contest 60 C is a fiberglass sailing yacht built by the Dutch shipyard known for solid construction, comfort, and seaworthy design. At 60 feet with a 16-foot beam, she combines lightweight construction with cruising performance. Power comes from a Perkins Sabre diesel engine rated at 220 horsepower, delivering a cruising speed of 8 knots.
Below deck, the yacht offers four cabins and three heads. The owner's cabin is located aft with an en-suite bathroom and separate shower. Two guest cabins sit forward, served by two bathrooms; one retains its shower while the other has been configured for privacy alone, though the shower can be restored. A crew cabin forward near the guest facilities is currently set up as a sail locker but has space for berths to accommodate crew.
The yacht is well equipped for extended cruising. Systems include electric winches and hydraulic furlers for all sails, three refrigerators (one convertible to a freezer), a watermaker, heating, air conditioning, and a generator. Safety equipment includes a liferaft and EPIRB for offshore navigation.
The boat has been maintained recently with ongoing upgrades. The standing rigging, mast, and boom paintwork may benefit from renewal depending on use, and the deck teak should be evaluated over time. She remains in overall good condition and ready for long-range cruising.
