This 28-foot center console is a custom-built parasail platform originally constructed by O.C. Parasail Inc. The fiberglass hull features cored topsides, stringers, and bulkheads, with a reinforced transom and overlapping hull-to-deck joint. In 2022, the boat received a complete mechanical and cosmetic overhaul: a new Volvo Penta D6-380 diesel engine paired to a DPI-A sterndrive, a professional Alexseal repaint in Matterhorn White, and a fully rebuilt parasail system with new sails and hydraulic components.
The deck layout supports efficient passenger flow with wrap-around bench seating and storage, a side-console helm with leaning post seat, aluminum buggy top, and foam padding on the aft deck. Five stainless retractable cleats, a stainless bow rail, and a swim platform complete the working design. The boat carries an anchor locker with a Danforth anchor, 150 feet of mixed rode, fenders, and dock lines.
Propulsion comes from the 380-horsepower diesel engine equipped with electronic vessel control, closed cooling with a heat exchanger, hydraulic trim, and Volvo power steering. A Racor 900 fuel separator services the 120-gallon aluminum tank. The electrical system includes two Group 27 batteries with Blue Sea switches, navigation lights, and a marine stereo.
The hydraulic parasail system is shaft-driven with a stainless Custom Chutes winch, aluminum parasail mast, and 12-gallon stainless hydraulic reservoir controlled mechanically from the helm with an automatic pressure-actuated emergency brake. The package includes two sails for different wind conditions, a triple passenger bar, 14 harnesses in various sizes, and safety equipment including eight Type I PFDs and two fire extinguishers. A tandem axle aluminum trailer and spare propeller in original packaging are included.
