The De Ridder FF 1100 is a 36-foot sailing yacht built in fiberglass by Modus Marine to a design that prioritizes easy handling and speed without demanding a large crew or complex sail management. The hull features a round bilge form with a fixed keel, draws 210 centimeters, and displaces 4,200 kilograms with 1,800 kilograms of ballast. A Yanmar 2GM20 diesel engine of 18 horsepower provides auxiliary power through a saildrive with folding propeller. The boat carries 50 liters of fuel in a stainless steel tank and has a 260-liter fresh water tank with pressure system. Two 180-ampere-hour service batteries support the 12-volt electrical system.
The cockpit is generously proportioned and laid out for efficient operation whether sailed shorthanded or with a full crew. Below deck, three cabins provide accommodation for up to six berths on a modern interior with wood-look finishes and brown upholstery. The saloon has 170 centimeters of headroom. A single manual head, two-burner gas cooker, and electric refrigeration support extended cruising.
The sail plan uses an aluminium mast with fractional rigging, stainless steel standing rigging, and an extendable bowsprit. Four Anderssen 46ST self-tailing winches handle the main, genoa, jib, storm jib, and gennaker. Navigation equipment includes a Raymarine Axiom chart plotter, Autohelm 4000 autopilot, Standard Horizon VHF, and two Plastimo compasses. The boat carries two anchors with rope connection and features a self-draining cockpit and manual electric bilge pump.
The yacht requires attention to navigation instruments, the rudder blade, rigging systems, and sails prior to return to service. The hot air heating system is defective. Various instruments for depth, wind, and speed are not operational.
