The 2003 Formula 31 is a 31-foot express cruiser built on the brand's deep-V fiberglass hull. Twin MerCruiser engines produce 640 horsepower, delivering a cruising speed of 26 knots and a maximum speed of 35 knots. The boat features trim tabs for enhanced handling and ride quality, and is equipped with an onboard generator, air conditioning and heating throughout, and a new camper canvas enclosure that extends the usable cockpit space.
Below deck, the layout combines a forward berth and mid-cabin with convertible seating in the salon, providing flexible sleeping and living arrangements for weekend trips and longer stays. The galley is fully equipped for onboard meal preparation, and an enclosed head with shower adds comfort for extended cruising.
The cockpit is designed as an entertainment space with open seating, excellent flow between the helm and lounging areas, and protection from the new enclosure. The layout supports both socializing and all-weather operation. Systems are reported operational and the boat reflects consistent maintenance throughout its history.
