2003 Harbor Master 400

This 2003 Harbor Master 400 Coastal is a 46-foot fiberglass houseboat powered by twin Mercruiser 8.1S Horizon gasoline engines producing 370 horsepower each. The engines run low hours at 320 each and cruise at 18 knots with a top speed of 31 knots. A 12.5 kW Kohler generator with 730 hours supports onboard systems, while a Maxwell windlass and 50-amp shore power connection provide essential functionality.

The layout features two staterooms, two vacuum-flush heads with one shower in the main stateroom, and a full galley with generous storage. The main salon opens to panoramic windows, and a spacious flybridge offers helm and seating for cruising or entertaining. Wide side decks provide easy access throughout the boat, and a rear grill is mounted for outdoor cooking.

In 2023, significant mechanical work was completed: bottom paint refreshed, cutlass bearings serviced, anodes replaced, shaft packing renewed, and impellers changed out in 2025. A complete tune-up was performed, batteries replaced, and new carbon monoxide detectors installed. One of two Marine Air/Cruise Air Turbo units was overhauled. The boat carried a fresh 300-foot anchor rope and a Xantrex TrueCharge2 battery charger. Fuel capacity is 265 gallons, freshwater 100 gallons, black water 40 gallons, and the water heater holds 15 gallons. Draft is approximately 2 feet 6 inches.
