2003 Hatteras 60 Convertible

This 2003 Hatteras 60 Convertible is a diesel-powered sportfisherman built on a solid fiberglass hull and powered by twin Caterpillar C-30 engines delivering 1,550 horsepower each. With approximately 3,880 to 3,890 original hours on the engines, the boat has been extensively upgraded and maintained. A full Awlgrip paint job was applied in 2018, and the hull received a soda-blast treatment in 2022 followed by fresh bottom paint. Recent work includes new shafts, new batteries, rebuilt alternators, updated engine aftercoolers, and comprehensive mechanical service.

The accommodations comprise three staterooms and three heads. The master features a king berth with an ensuite head and entertainment center. The forward VIP stateroom offers a queen walkaround berth with ensuite head, while the starboard guest cabin has stacked bunks. The salon features leather sectional seating, rod storage, and an entertainment center with Denon receiver and Sony DVD changer. The galley is appointed with Sub-Zero drawers, Corian countertops, a convection microwave, and a four-burner cooktop.

Electronics and systems have been substantially renewed with four Garmin 8616 multifunction displays on the flybridge, a Garmin 8612 in the salon, Garmin autopilot, and open-array radar. Starlink WiFi, updated digital Caterpillar engine displays, and twin ICOM VHF radios are installed. Two Onan 21.5-kilowatt generators, a 900-gallon-per-day watermaker, and a new Dometic ice maker support extended cruising. The boat holds 1,747 gallons of fuel and 200 gallons of fresh water.

The flybridge includes a Pipewelders hardtop with three-sided enclosure and features a custom helm pod with teaser reels and electric troll-valve control. The cockpit is outfitted for fishing with an 80-inch fishbox, transom fishbox, teak deck, a Bluewater fighting chair, and tackle drawers. A new headliner, LED interior and hardtop lighting, updated soft goods, Amtico flooring, and fresh interior carpeting were added as part of recent upgrades.
