The 2003 Howard Bullet is a 28-foot fiberglass high-performance boat powered by a Teague 900 EFI engine. The engine has 485 total hours, with 150 hours logged since a complete overhaul that included fresh plugs, oil, and impeller. All belts were serviced in summer 2025, and maintenance items are scheduled through spring 2026. The Imco SC Extreme 1.34 gear ratio outdrive has been freshly rebuilt with new upper and lower components—only the case was retained—and carries roughly 10 hours since the rebuild. The drive includes a 12-inch Imco stand-off box and a lower unit shortened by 2 inches.
The boat runs a five-blade 28-pitch propeller and comes equipped with an Extreme-built trailer in excellent condition. The trailer received new tires and wheel bearings in spring 2025. The gelcoat exterior is in excellent condition, with a ceramic coating scheduled for spring 2026.
The interior was substantially reupholstered in winter 2025, with new carpet throughout. The boat is set up for speed and responsiveness, getting on plane at 2000 rpm with a full tank, cruising at 60 mph around 3500 rpm, and reaching 90 mph at 5300–5400 rpm. Performance can be increased further with an alternative four-blade propeller setup.
