2003 Hunter 426 Deck Salon

The Hunter 426 Deck Salon is a 42-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat with a hull designed by Glenn Henderson that balances beam carry and seakeeping qualities. Powered by a 56-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine with reported hours under 300, the boat has a cruising speed of just over 6 knots. The design emphasizes interior space and natural light through wide windows and ports throughout the cabin.

The interior includes two full staterooms, two heads with separate shower stalls, and a galley with stainless steel appliances and Corian countertops. The master stateroom features a desk and office area. Furnishings include innerspring mattresses in both cabins, a flat-screen television, and Bose audio system. The layout creates a practical living environment for extended cruising.

Recent maintenance includes new standing rigging and a Raymarine wind speed and direction cable installed in October 2025, a new hot water tank with coolant lines for the engine completed in February 2026, and new sanitation hoses throughout the boat from October 2025. The cockpit table and companionway received fresh varnish in January 2026, and the anchor light has been upgraded with a Lunasea LED bulb.
