About This Yacht
This 2003 Kenner 180-V is a 17.67-foot tunnel hull sportfish equipped for serious shallow-water and coastal fishing. The boat carries a 36-gallon fuel tank and runs a Mercury 115 Optimax EFI saltwater outboard with a 4-blade stainless propeller and whaletail. A power jackplate with 6-inch backplate allows fine control in skinny water, and a 52-pound saltwater trolling motor provides additional positioning capability.
The fishing layout includes two aerated livewells with night LED lighting, a dedicated casting deck with casting seat, and LED green lights mounted outside under the gunwales for night operations. Navigation and fish-finding equipment consists of a Lowrance 7 tri-beam unit with side scan. A Bimini top with boot provides weather protection, and the boat features deck-side nightlights for visibility. Anchoring is supported by a claw anchor, deadhead anchor tie-down, and 200 feet of braided rode.
The electrical system has been recently updated with new steering cables and new throttle cables, along with a Perko battery switch, two batteries, and two onboard battery chargers. A second fused 6-gang panel expands circuit capacity. Bilge management includes an automatic bilge pump below deck and a washdown pump on deck. Two fiberglass pushpoles with tie-downs are included for pole operations.
The boat comes with a galvanized trailer featuring good tires and a new spare, new trailer lights, side running PVC poles with galvanized pipe inserts, marker lights, and new running boards.
