2003 Kenner tunnel

This 18-foot Kenner tunnel boat is built for shallow-water fishing and built on a fiberglass hull powered by a single 115-horsepower Mercury Optimax EFI saltwater outboard. The engine runs at a maximum speed of 52 mph and is fitted with a four-blade stainless propeller and whaletail. Power comes from a 36-gallon fuel tank mounted with an electric jack plate and six-inch backing plate.

The boat is equipped with two aerated livewells with night LED lighting, a dedicated casting deck with a casting seat, and a Bimini top with boot cover. Navigational equipment includes a Lowrance 7-inch tri-beam sounder with side scan. A 52-pound saltwater trolling motor, two fiberglass pushpoles, and a claw anchor with deadhead tie-down and 200 feet of braided rode complete the fishing setup. Deck-side night lights and green LED strips mounted under the gunwales support night operation.

Electrical and mechanical systems have received recent attention: steering cables and throttle cables are new, dual onboard battery chargers and a Perko battery switch manage two batteries, and a second fused six-gang electrical panel adds capacity. Twin bilge pumps—one automatic and one manual—provide water management. A galvanized trailer with new spare tire, new trailer lights, side-running PVC poles with galvanized piping, and new running boards is included.
